George Best Belfast City Airport
Belfast City Airport was renamed 'George Best Belfast City Airport' in 2006 in memory of the famous Belfast footballer, George Best.
George Best Belfast City Airport serves the entire North East region of Ireland and is ocated on the A2, Sydenham Bypass road between Belfast and Holywood. Approaching Belfast on the M1 or M2, follow the signs to Belfast City Airport, leading to the A2 via the M3.
A number of services are readily available at the airport including car parking, car rental, conference suites, pubs and restaurants.
George Best Belfast City Airport is well served by rail and bus routes and Sydenham railway station is adjacent to the southern perimeter of the airport. Passengers arriving or departing by train can request an airport courtesy bus to take them to or from the terminal.
